ToneColorMatching is a free, offline color-matching puzzle. Each level names a shade. You mix Hue, Saturation, and Lightness until your swatch sits as close as possible to the target — scored by DeltaE, the scientific color-difference metric.
How to mix
01 · Brief
Every stage gives a color name and a short hint. Early levels also show the target swatch so you can train your eye.
02 · Mix
Hue finds the family (0–360°). Saturation sets intensity (0–100%). Lightness darkens or lifts the shade (0–100%).
03 · Submit
You have 30 seconds. Tap Submit to see your score, DeltaE, hex values, and stars — then unlock the next level.
Work in the same three axes designers use. The live hex preview updates as you drag, so you can feel the mix before you commit.
Closeness is measured with the CIE color-difference formula. A lower DeltaE means a tighter match, a higher score, and more stars.
Five themed sets, fifty shades. Progress unlocks one stage at a time. Best scores and total stars stay on your device.
Levels 1–5 show the target. 6–10 keep the hint only. From 11 onward you mix from memory — difficulty steps up every ten stages.
